Ex-LNWR 1P 2-4-2T No 46683 basks in the early afternoon sun on a Nuneaton to Leamington service on 28th June 1952. The clock above and behind coach states that the time is 2:19pm. The lack of ornate finishing to the canopy signifies the section of canopy damaged by the bomb damage on the evening of the 14th November 1940. The locomotive was designed by FW Webb and built at Crewe works in July 1893 and was to remain in service until February 1953 when it was withdrawn from 2C Warwick shed.
