View of Coundon Road station's level crossing and goods yard from the Nuneaton end of the down platform. On the extreme right beyond the signal box is the Car Bodies factory which butted up to the railway. To the right of the signal box and in front of the Carbodies factory was the home of Coventry Rugby Football Club which for many years up to the game turning professional, was one of England's leading clubs.
