Close up showing the station's down platform building which provided accommodation for a general waiting room and a ladies waiting room. The ladies waiting room had provision for an internal lavatory which was accessed internally. The two windows in the gable end wall are fitted with obscured glass and therefore it would seem that this was the room nearest the camera was the ladies waiting room whilst the far room with a window on either side of the door was the larger general waiting room.
