View of female staff employed at the Curzon Street District Goods Manager's Office in the 1890s. Together with many railway businesses the LNWR was an early employer of female staff. Its interesting to note that this the ladies are not posed in the normal 'face to the front' style seen in subsequent staff photographs but are posed in a very artistic manner. The ladies all appear to be wearing a similar style of top and skirt and aged from their early twenties to their early forties.
