LMS Route: Rugby to Wolverhampton

Looking towards Berkswell station with Hampton in Arden goods yard seen in the distance on the right on 27th June 1961. Located aproximately mid-way between the up and down connections on the main. The down access line to the goods yard seen on the right also enabled the line to be used as refuge or passing loop line for freight traffic. This resulted in two trailing connections from the down line, one seen in the near distance and another located by the occupation bridge at the east end of the down platform as seen in image 'lnwrhia1558'.
