Another view of Kenilworth's replacement station with the raised ornate glazed roof towering above the booking hall

Another view of Kenilworth's replacement station showing the architectural features used in the walls, window openings, doorways and chimneys. The same use of detail has been used on the light wrought iron canopy and the raised ornate glazed roof towering above the booking hall. The contractor was Messrs Philip Horseman and Company of Wolverhampton and who started on the rebuilding in April 1883 under the supervision of Mr H Woodhouse of Stafford, Chief Engineer of the LNWR (Southern Division), from designs prepared by Mr TW Jones of the Engineer's office. According to John Alsop, this photograph was taken prior to July 1912.
