An unidentified ex-LNWR 0-6-0 'Cauliflower' locomotive pilots an unknown LMS 4F 0-6-0 locomotives through Kenilworth as they run light towards Coventry in 1937. Whilst the operating departments of railway companies tried to balance each working with a return journey this was not always possible. As both locomotives have full tenders its likely that the pair have worked through to Leamington with a freight service to then be turned, take on coal and then water before returning to their home shed.
