A 1959 aerial view of Kenilworth showing the station in the centre, Waverley Road on the left and the closed Whitemoor Brickworks on the right. Waverley Road, Priory Road, with the dogleg, and Station Road (once Clarendon Street) converge at the station. Whitemoor Road bridge which was a favourite location for photographers is on the right near to the top of the photograph. David Royal, who corrected the above caption, writes 'Another place for photography was the footbridge just north of the station - just visible in front of the big sheds. Many photographs of the station, then and since, are from there. It was a open metal bridge with wooden steps and floor which replaced a few years later (when all the bridges were raised) by the current one. In the foreground the housing estate is being extended.'
