An unidentified Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T tank locomotive is seen running bunker first as the driver delivers the train staff to the signalman. The steam escaping from the safety valves helps to demonstrate that their boilers were perfect for raising steam which combined with excellent cylinder design meant that these locomotives were highly regarded by their crews and the operating department.
