Looking towards Rugby and Weedon showing the station has been renovated with the footbridge having the upper side sheeting removed. Both platforms were generously equipped with accommodation for passengers with waiting rooms, ladies waiting rooms, buffet and parcel offices. The signs are still LNWR indicating this is an early 1950s view whilst the well laden porters trolleys show parcel traffic was still an important part of station life. The barrow crossing which can be seen beyond the passenger foot bridge was used to move such loads from one platform to another.
