LMS Route: Rugby to Wolverhampton
Marston Green Station: lnwrmg2820
Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 44863 is seen passing Marston Green
level crossing at the head of a down express train on 28th May 1955. Built as
LMS No 4863 by Crewe works in January 1945, No 44863 remained in service until
May 1967 when it was withdrawn from 8A Edge Hill shed to be scrapped by J
Cashmore's of Great Bridge.
