LNWR Large Bloomer 2-2-2 No 894 'Trentham' is posed yet again for the camera in front of the water tank and shed. Examination of the photograph shows that all five of the men standing on or by the locomotive are wearing identical clothes and peaked hats. In all probability they are Monument Lane cleaners whose normal duty was to clean and prepare the shed's locomotives.
