LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

Ex-LMS 4-6-0 rebuilt Jubilee class No 45735 'Comet' is seen on an up express train as it passes through Nuneaton station's No 4 platform sometime before December 1958. Built at Crewe works in November 1936 No 45735 was one of two Jubilees rebuilt in 1942 as precursor's to the rebuilding of the Royal Scot class and remained in service until October 1964 when it was withdrawn from Annesley shed to be scrapped during January 1965 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
