A Midland Railway class 1873 locomotive, No 58281 was built by Neilson & Company circa 1897 and remained in service until May 1959 when it was officially withdrawn from Bushbury shed to be scrapped circa 1959 at Derby works Derby Works after storage at Rugby from October 1958.
