Ex-LNWR 2P Renown class 4-4-0 No 5117 'Polyphemus' stands next to coal stacks after turning on the turntable with driver oiling engine on 13th August 1930. Rebuilt from a Jubilee class locomotive as LNWR No 1929 at Crewe works in April 1899, No 5117 was renumbered by the LMS in February 1924 and remained in service until it was withdrawn in December 1930 to be scrapped at Crewe works.
