Ex-LMS 4P 4-4-0 Compound No 41152 stands on shed already looking a little dirty in its relatively new British Railways livery in May 1950. Built as LMS No 1152 by the North British Locomotive Company in September 1925 it remained in service until March 1958 when it was withdrawn from Green Ayre shed in Lancaster for scrapping by Derby works.
