LMS 2-6-2T No 3 is seen at the head of a local passenger service to Coventry as it crosses Princes Drive viaduct ready to stop at Warwick Milverton station in November 1938. Built in 1930 at Derby works No 3 was a member of a class that had a reputation for poor steaming, despite this No 3 remained in service until February 1961 when it was withdrawn as British Railways No 40003 from Widnes shed although it was stored at Rugby from October 1958.
