View of Milverton's stable block located on the south side of the goods yard backing on to Rugby Road in May 1972. The yard had to be built on the level which meant that on the Rugby Road side of the yard it was at least twelve feet above the road. The two-storey structure seen on the left would have had the feed and hay stored on the top floor. The single storey building on the right has a large vent centrally position on the roof to ensure the stables were well ventilated. David Churchill
