LMS Route: Nuneaton to Birmingham New Street

Ex-LNER B1 4-6-0 No 61065 passes through Bromford Bridge light engine on the up slow line. The single lamp over the left buffer hasn't been moved since its last trip as it indicates it was a Class J service which covered a 'Mineral or empty wagon train'. Built by the North British Locomotive Company in August 1946, No 61065 was to remain in service until September 1964 when it was withdrawn from 53A Hull Dairycoates shed to be scrapped by Drapers of Hull.
