LMS Route: Nuneaton to Birmingham New Street
Bromford Bridge Station: mrbb1695
Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 48694 passes through the station on an
up Type 7 express freight service. Built as LMS No 8694 in April 1944 by the
Southern Railway's Brighton works, No 48694 was to remain in service until
March 1966 when it was withdrawn from 16E Kirkby in Ashfield to be
scrapped.
