Brighton Road Station: mrbr512

Looking towards Camp Hill from Brighton Road station's up platform with the main station building on the left

Looking towards Camp Hill from Brighton Road station's up platform with the main station building on the left on 10th August 1928. The main building has an ornate fascia as well as brick built chimneys whereas the down building has neither fascia or chimneys. The platform timbers on the up platform are laid at 90° to the rails, different to that seen on the down platform. There appears to be a barrow crossing at the Camp Hill end of the station used to ferrying parcels if not providing passengers access between platforms.
