Close up of image 'mrcb1032' showing Castle Bromwich Junction signal box and the entrance to the station's goods yard. Entrance to the goods yard was via Chester Road but at junction near to Castle Bromwich Bridge, the access road running some distance parallel and below Chester Road which was raised on an embankment to cross the railway. Within the yard there was a weighbridge and office for the merchants using the station goods yard.
