LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton

Castle Bromwich Station: mrcb38

Ex-MR 2P 4-4-0 No 371 approaches Castle Bromwich station with a local service for New Street on 3rd June 1925. The coaching stock comprises Midland Railway close coupled clerestory stock. Built at Derby works in August 1886, No 371 remained in service until July 1929. Note the Great Western hopper wagons standing on one of Castle Bromwich's two refuge sidings.
