View of ex-MR 0-6-0 4F No 43926 at the head of a down goods train approaching Camp Hill Signal Box, just north of the station, on 5th June 1955. The tall building behind the plume of smoke was the warehouse and grain store part of the Camp Hill Goods yard complex. The steeple to the right of centre indicates the position of King Edward's Camp Hill School. A member of the MR's 3835 class, No 43926 was built by Derby works circa 1920 and was to remain in service for another five years being withdrawn from Barrow Road shed in Bristol on 6 July 1959. It was stored at Chaddesden Sidings until 15th September 1960 before being scrapped by A Loom of Spondon.
