LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Kings Heath Station: mrkh514

Looking towards Camp Hill showing the trailing crossover between the down line on the right and the up line on the left. The crossover is not to be seen in image mrkh515 or other later images although it is seen in image 'mrkh727'. Trying to determine which view is the earlier is very difficult without being to access track plans etc. However close examination of the two would seem to indicate that the view above is the earlier view because the fascia boards to the station buildings are cleaner and the stone edging to the platform appears to be in good condition. As the crossover was lifted in 1906 the photograph must have been before this date.
