The sheer number of posters on view almost constitutes graffiti whilst to the left of doorway can be seen a weighing machine. Other than passengers and livestock everything else transported by rail would charged a fee based on weight and mileage. Weighing machines could therefore be found at most stations for parcels as well other types of goods forwarded by passenger services.
