LMS 4-4-0 'Compound' 4P No 1027 is working very hard whilst
on a twelve coach express train in the summer of 1936. Built by Derby works in
June 1906 No 1027 was to remain in service until September 1948 when it was
withdrawn from 22B Gloucester shed to be scrapped the same year by Derby
works.
