MR 4-4-0 No 432 is seen ghosting past the MR gantry signal at the head of an up express on 15th April 1922. A member of the MR's 483 class No 432 was built by Sharp Stewart in February 1893 and was to remain in service until November 1953 when it was withdrawn from 17B Burton-on-Trent shed to be scrapped by Derby Works circa 1953.
