LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Ex-LMS 0-6-0 4F No 44590 is seen passing snow covered Northfield on a down Class J mineral train on 27th February 1955. Built at Derby works in September 1939, No 44590 remained in service until July 1961 when it was withdrawn from 41E Barrow Hill shed in Staveley to be scrapped in September 1961 by Crewe works.
