Ex-MR 3P 0-6-4T 'Flatiron' No 2026 is seen standing alongside Saltley's No 3 roundhouse with its lamp position in the centre of the bufferbeam indicating its last trip was as a class G light engine in service on 24th August 1935. On the side of the tank is a plaque which reads 'Rebuilt Derby 1924'. Built in June 1907 at Derby works, No 2026 remained in service until February 1936 when it was withdrawn from Saltley to be scrapped by Derby works.
