Looking West towards Bromford Bridge with Washwood Heath Sidings No 1 Signal Box in the centre and the bank engine leaving the sidings on the right on 12th May 1961. The line on the left of the signal box was the up Lawley Street line which became the up goods line from this point forward. The line on the left in the foreground started from the signal box as the down Lawley Street line and as can be seen only connected with the down passenger line.
