Close up of image 'mrwo121' showing the lime stained cattle wagon standing on the siding with a railway worker posed for the camera. The building behind the railway worker, possibly working in the yard or signal box, is most probably the station master's house. In front of the worker is part of the pointwork leading to the Water Orton's small goods yard. The use of lime to clean cattle wagons was common on railways and the sight of the bleached timbers was common across all railway companies.
