Another view of the station looking towards Stratford upon Avon shortly before the withdrawal of passenger services. The joint LMS-GWR signal box on the right was built in 1931 and controlled both companies stations including the level crossings seen at the end of the platforms. Between the two platforms is a boardwalk provided for the station staff to cross from one platform to another with steps set inset into the platform face. On the extreme right is the typical SMJ Fenny Compton station's name board.
