Former E&WJR 0-6-0ST No 1, now seen in Rother Vale Colliery livery and numbered 0, is in near original form. Built by Beyer Peacock to work the Stratford upon Avon to Broom Junction line, it was sold 1888 to Rother Vale Colliery. Apart from the fitting of a new firebox, tubes and chimney in 1910 no other changes were made to outwardly distiguish it from its original condition. The wheelbase was 13ft 9in with 48 inch diameter wheels; working pressure was 120Ibs per sq inch; whilst the cylinders were 16 inch diameter with a 22inch stroke. Its water capacity was 700 gallons and it weighed some 30 tons.
