Stratford on Avon Station: smjsa62b
Close up of image 'smjsa62' showing the extension built to
the eastern end of Stratford on Avon's main station building. The single storey
flat-roofed building was built at the same time as the canopy in 1910 as part
of the newly formed SMJ's improvements. This new structure accommodated the Tea
Room which Arthur Jordan's mother managed for many decades. In addition to the
tea room was a kitchen, ladies toilets, tap room (for storing drinks etc.) and
a lamp room.
