Looking towards Bridge 448, the four span girder viaduct carrying the GC over the Oxford Canal north of Rugby. On the left of the picture is the wing wall of the Great Central's brick arch bridge (446) over the River Avon. Thomas Oliver & Son was the firm responsible for building this section of the line (Contract No.4, Rugby to Woodford).
