Ex-ROD 2-8-0 No 63901 pauses at Rugby Central goods yard during working a southbound pick-up goods. Built as ROD No 2165 in December 1919, No 63901 was classified by the LNER as a Class O4/3 and renumbered as No 6642 in June 1924. The LNER again reclassified the locomotive as a Class 01 in October 1945 and then renumbered it again as No 3901 in April 1946. British Railways renumbered the locomotive as No 63901 in February 1950 which it carried until November 1962 when it was withdrawn from 16D Annesley shed to be scrapped by Crewe works.
