LNER Route: Leicester to Marylebone
Rugby Central Station: gcrgen310
Ex-LNER 2-6-2 V2 No 60932, allocated to York shed,
approaches Rugby with a northbound express freight. Built as LNER 3659 by
Doncaster Plant in October 1941, it was renumbered twice in the same year by
the LNER, first as No 832 which was not applied and then a few months later as
No 932 applied in December 1946. British Railways applied the number seen above
in October 1948 which it carried until May 1964 when it was withdrawn from 50A
York shed to be scrapped by Swindon works.
