Another view of the north end of Catesby tunnel'. The contractor's temporary way can be clearly seen characterised by wide spacing between the sleepers which themselves were made from rough timber.

The cutting has been dressed on the side nearest the camera whereas the far side still needs to be excavated and dressed.
