Colliery Locomotives: misc_coll-locos049

North British 0-6-0T 'Coventry No 1' is seen standing in the yard at Haunchwood Colliery on 16th August 1966. Originally built in 1939 - Works No 24564 - for use at Coventry Colliery the locomotive is about to be transferred again, this time to Newdigate Colliery from where it was saved to be preserved at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, Quainton Road.
