Manning Wardle 0-6-0ST Works No 2047 is seen at Rugby Cement's New Bilton Works yard on 18th March 1961. The driver looking out of the cab window is Bill Curtis. Built in 1926 this was the last locomotive to be built by Manning Wardle before its closure due to the post World One recession. The locomotive was rescued for preservation and was moved to the Severn Valley Railway.
