Hunslet 'Austerity' 0-6-0ST 'Newdigate Colliery No 1', its name can just read on the tank side, waits in the yard for its next turn of duty. To the left of the locomotive, in the distance and on the same road, are six-plank internal wagons as indicated by the 'St Andrews' cross whilst to the right are British Railways 16 ton steel bodied mineral wagons loaded with coal.
