The down Cambrian Coast Express is seen approaching Hatton station headed by GWR King Class No 6027 'King Richard I' wearing the '84A' shed plate. Built at Swindon works to Lot 267 in July 1930 No 6027 was allocated to '84A' Stafford Road shed in Wolverhampton when it was withdrawn from service in September 1962 to be scrapped in July 1963 by Cox and Danks of Langley Green in Oldbury. The oil painting was completed in 1983.
