LMS 4-6-2 7P Princess Royal class No 6211 'Queen Maude' is seen on a down express passing through Brinklow station in July 1937. Built by Crewe works in September 1935 No 6211 remained in service until October 1961 when it was withdrawn from Crewe North shed to be scrapped during April 1962 at Crewe works.
