LMS 6P 4-6-0 Royal Scot class No 6153 'The Royal Dragoon' is seen at the head of a six-coach express service near Newbold Troughs in August 1937. Built at Derby works in June 1930 No 6153 was rebuilt with tapered 2A boiler post-war and remained in service until December 1962 when it was withdrawn from Annesley shed to be scrapped in May 1963 by Crewe works.
