LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

Ex-Midland Railway 4F 0-6-0 No 3924 is seen running tender first on a long mineral goods train from Coventry to Leamington circa 1930s. The up track which the locomotive is running on appears to have been recently renewed as is evident by the new ballast and raised track. The down line however has yet to be re-laid although the sleepers and rails have been placed ready for the work to be carried out at the next 'occupation', which would without doubt take place on a Sunday, the quietest day of the week.
