LMS Route: Nuneaton to Coventry

Albany Road Bridge: lnwrar3b

An unknown LNWR 0-6-0 'Cauliflower' good engine stands on the Leamington to Coventry branch line whilst the engine crew look at the scene of chaos. The retaining walls seen just above the carriages had been fitted with handrails which was an unusual sight at most bridges. It was a feature on both sides of the bridge as can be seen in image 'lnwrar1543' but was not evident in image 'lnwr1351'.
