Ex-LMS 4-6-0 6P rebuilt Patriot class No 45531 'Sir Frederick Harrison' is seen arriving at Coventry's up platform with a twelve-coach up express on August 1948. Originally built as a LNWR Claughton it was nominally rebuilt as LMS Patriot class No 5531 at Crewe works in April 1933 and then named 'Sir Frederick Harrison' in 1937 before it was again rebuilt in December 1947 with new cylinders and tapered boiler. It remained in service until October 1965 when it was withdrawn from Kingmoor shed in Carlisle to be scrapped during March 1966 by GH Campbell of Airdrie.
