LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Harborne

LMS 2-6-0 'Horwich Mogul' No 2825 at the head of a freight train that appears to be running under mineral train headcode on 12th April 1940. The train has just passed the junction with Harborne branch. The bridge carrying the branch over the canal can be seen on the far right of the photograph. The factory being demolished (not as a result of wartime bombing) can also be seen in image 'lnwrhj2212'.
