LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

Ex-LMS 4-6-0 rebuilt Patriot class No 45522 'Prestatyn' is seen at the head of an up express service as it passes through Nuneaton station. Another notional Claughton rebuild, No 45522 was shopped from Derby works in March 1933 and was rebuilt to the same specification as the rebuilt Royal Scot class in February 1949 remaining in service until September 1964 when it was withdrawn from Buxton shed to be scrapped in May 1965 by the Central Wagon Company of Ince near Wigan.
